Amalgamated Cash Services management consists of a highly experienced team of seasoned professionals who take great pride in servicing their customers and the community.


Managing Director Stuart Mackaway has over 27 years experience in the Security and 'Cash In Transit' Industries. Stuart has a Masters of Business Administration Degree  and a Diploma in Teaching. Stuart was raised in Stockton and went on to captain the Newcastle Hunters Basketball team to a championship win as well as playing for the Newcastle Falcons in the National Basketball League. Stuart's long history in security operations in Newcastle saw him in a wide variety of roles from crowd control, 'Cash In Transit' service to Security Supervisor for NES. Stuart's professional approach and leadership have played a large part in ACS's success and the companys great reputation.


Director Gary Neal was originally from Bourke and moved to Newcastle in 1986. Gary loves his sport, he played, captain/coached and represented both Group 15 and 20 of the Country Rugby League. After moving to Newcastle Gary continued with his sporting interests and managed the Hunter Basketball side for two years. Gary went on to manage security at Castle Tavern for 11 years before joining ACS, by the end of 2000 Gary's knowledge and professionalism saw him become a director of ACS. Gary is one of the reasons for ACS's success and impeccable reputation.


Operations Manager, Wayne Tisdell has been with ACS for over 12 years. Wayne started work in the navy where he served for six years and achieved the position of Anti Submarine Aircraft Controller. The Navy taught Wayne the importance of discipline, persistence and excellence. Since then these skills have played a big part in Wayne's success in the Security Industry. Wayne started as a patrolman for Wormald in 1985 before becoming the Mobile Patrol/Guard Supervisor with Chubb Security in 1995. Wayne's hard work and dedication didn't go unnoticed and he was promoted to Area Manager of Guard services in 1997 where he remained until joining ACS in 2000.

Administration-Manager---Jullie-BrownAdministration Manager Jullie Brown holds both Certificate IV in Human Resources and an Advanced Diploma of Management Certificate. Jullie has amassed 39 years experience in retail management and was the Administration Manager of Computer Superstore at Harvey Norman, Bennet's Green for eight years before joining ACS. Jullie's zealous attention to detail keeps the ACS staff professionally focused thus ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently at all times.

Kathy-GardinerAdministration Manager and Cash Room Supervisor at ACS’s Broadwater operation, KathleenGardiner brings a wealth of experience to the management team. Kathleen’s 14 years experience in management with Westpac combined with another 18 years contributing to Gosford Armaguard’s management team as Supervisor gives Kathleen a unique  understanding of both the Banking and Cash In Transit Industries. This knowledge is backed by a high level of computing skills and various degrees. Kathleen is another member of the Amalgamated team dedicated to constant streaming of systems and best practice principals.
